Our Journey
Founded in 2011 by Erica Flores, Board-Certified Music Therapist, Healing Harmonies provides high-quality therapy services with heart. Our compassion and integrity help us stand out as the agency that truly cares. Each of our team members operates under a code of ethics (American Music Therapy Association’s Code of Ethics or the Ethical Principles for Art Therapists). Our clients receive personal service and attention with customized prescriptions created for each unique client. Along with our services, Erica and the team educate and advocate for the potential and power of music and art therapy. Our vision is to create an ever-lasting ripple effect throughout the community, extending the power of music and art therapy to touch even more people in need.

Our Compassionate Team
Erica
Founder & CEO
Erica graduated from Alverno College in 2005 with an undergraduate degree in music therapy, shortly thereafter obtaining her national board certification.
After being employed by a few private practices, Erica decided to embark on her own private practice journey. She founded Healing Harmonies in 2011. Since then Erica has found her true driving passions to be advocating for the fields of music therapy and art therapy as well as becoming an effective leader to other therapists.
Erica’s goal is to continue building a team that can touch more individuals throughout the community than she could ever reach on her own.
Erica resides in Oconomowoc with her husband and son. In her spare time Erica enjoys exercising, cooking, spending time with friends and family, and watching football – Go Pack!
Katie
Administrative Assistant
Katie is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point with a bachelor of science degree in psychology and a master of science degree in human and community resources.
Katie’s previous experience and lifelong love of learning enable her to be an excellent resource.
Tamara
Office Coordinator
Tamara is a graduate of Concordia University with a Masters of Science in Education (K-12 School Counseling). She utilizes natural and learned interpersonal skills in her primary responsibilities of client relations and scheduling.
Tamara resides in Ixonia with her husband and two young sons.
Katherine
Art Therapist
Katherine uses art therapy as a creative approach to exploring emotions, challenges, and ways of thinking. She completed her Master of Science in Art Therapy with an Emphasis in Counseling from Mount Mary University.
Katherine has experience working with children on issues such as anxiety, stress, self-esteem, depression, life adjustments, and school issues, as well as elders exploring topics like grief, life transitions, empowerment, autonomy, and emotional exploration. Her way of practicing stems from a client-centered, narrative approach that asks clients to embrace being the expert of their own lives, while often utilizing mindfulness-based techniques that focus on grounding oneself in the present moment and practicing acceptance of passing feelings.
Caring for oneself is a lifelong process and Katherine looks forward to empathically supporting her clients towards building foundational skills they can take with them throughout life’s journey. She is passionate about forming genuine relationships with her clients that allow them to feel understood, empowered, accepted, and challenged.
When she is not working, Katherine loves fitness, reading, spending time outdoors, and exploring the Milwaukee area.
Alisha
Music Therapist
Alisha has been a Music Therapist with Healing Harmonies since April 2017. She graduated from Northern State University with a major in music education and a minor in business, after which she obtained a Master’s degree in Music Therapy at the University of Iowa. She enjoys working with those of all ages and abilities and believes in utilizing a person-centered approach, including meeting individuals where they are and capitalizing on their strengths.
Alisha loves a variety of creative outlets and spending time with family and friends.
Chloe
Music Therapist
Chloe enjoys working with those of all ages and abilities but her passion and heart truly lies with the geriatric and hospice population. Chloe strives to bring comfort through music not only to her clients but to their families as well. She believes in implementing multiple theoretical approaches of Music Therapy to reach each individual client.
In her spare time Chloe enjoys visiting her family in the Northwoods, hiking, watching live music and exploring Milwaukee.
Claire
Music Therapist
Claire graduated from Maryville University of St. Louis with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy. She has worked as a Board-Certified Music Therapist primarily with children and adults with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions.
Claire has expanded her horizons at Healing Harmonies to include working in hospice care.
Claire is a trained Neurologic Music Therapist and utilizes this approach, as well as a variety of other humanistic approaches, to best meet the needs of those she is serving.
Faith
Music Therapist
Faith graduated from Carroll University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Therapy.
Faith practices from a humanistic approach, bringing compassion, patience, and creativity into every session in order to help clients reach their full potential.
Faith enjoys working with clients of all ages and abilities, and she is especially passionate about working with school-age populations.
Fred
Music Therapist
After 30+ years in energy efficiency, Fred went back to school to obtain his music therapy equivalency degree at Alverno College and ultimately his board certification as a professional music therapist.
Fred is pleased to work with many of the wonderful clients and patients at Healing Harmonies. Further, Fred feels blessed to learn from and work with a strong staff of experienced music therapists.
When Fred is not helping clients, he spends much of his free time with family and grandkids, volunteering at his church, running, reading, improving his guitar skills, spending time with friends, and generally goofing off.
Lynnae
Music Therapist
Lynnae graduated from Alverno College in 2014 after interning with a focus with children in a medical setting. Shortly thereafter, finding her joy and passion in working with older adults in long-term care and on hospice, specializing in working with individuals diagnosed with Dementia and with individuals that are ventilator dependent.
Lynnae is excited to expand her horizons with Healing Harmonies. She looks forward to reigniting her passion for working with children, while finding opportunity to engage with individuals with a variety of abilities and walks of life. Lynnae practices with a person-centered approach along with neurological music therapy based techniques.
On her free time, Lynnae spends time with her family and likes to hike, walk, and garden. You might also find her singing and song writing, or spending time exploring creative writing or art making.
Marissa
Music Therapist
Marissa graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor’s degree in music therapy. She is originally from Northwest Iowa.
Marissa completed a music therapy internship at a pediatric hospital, and is excited to work with people of all ages and abilities at Healing Harmonies. Marissa uses an eclectic therapeutic approach to collaborate with clients and meet their needs.
In her free time Marissa enjoys spending time with friends and family, biking, reading, crocheting, and playing video games.
Tori
Music Therapist
Tori earned her Bachelor of Arts in Music with a psychology minor from University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. They went on to gain their second Bachelors in Music Therapy through Alverno College.
Tori practices from a mostly humanistic approach, based on individuality and personal strengths. Encouraging autonomy and collaboration, while providing resources and space for each persons growth.
In her free time, Tori enjoys reading, art, spending time with her friends or cat, and a lovely cup of coffee or tea.
