Art Therapy Clinical Supervisor Position

Healing Harmonies is seeking a driven and dedicated Art Therapy Clinical Supervisor to lead our dynamic team of Licensed Art Therapists in this newly created leadership role! We are a rapidly growing private practice serving Milwaukee, Waukesha, and surrounding counties. As Art Therapy Clinical Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and Mentor: Provide direct supervision and mentorship to our team of art therapists, ensuring productivity, support, and accountability. This includes conducting observations, 1:1 meetings, and performance improvement plans in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Champion Quality: Oversee program quality, ensuring compliance with licensure/certification requirements and HIPAA regulations. Monitor clinical practice, documentation, and service delivery, providing feedback and recommending improvements.
- Build and Develop the Team: Help recruit, train, and mentor qualified art therapists who align with Healing Harmonies’ values and needs.
- Manage and Optimize: Ensure staff contract compliance, track service productivity, and optimize caseloads and service schedules. Review and address reporting errors to maintain high standards.
- Elevate Art Therapy: Collaborate with the CEO and Music Therapy Clinical Supervisor to advocate for art therapy, develop and refine services, and implement marketing strategies to increase awareness and accessibility within the community.
- Foster Collaboration: Promote a collaborative environment within the art therapy team and across disciplines. Serve as a liaison with external organizations and agencies for community outreach programs.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Assist in developing and implementing staff training, proposing policy and practice improvements, and maintaining department budgets and inventory.
- Stay at the Forefront: Keep abreast of current art therapy trends, research, and events. Ensure team compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Represent Healing Harmonies: Participate in sponsored events and networking opportunities to promote our mission and values. Model value-based behavior and contribute to a positive company culture.
This position involves providing direct art therapy services in both group and individual settings within our Wauwatosa clinic and throughout the community. Extensive driving may be required.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Art Therapy
- ATR, ATRL, AT-BC, LPC-IT, LPC, and/or SAC-IT or eligibility to work towards appropriate licensure
- Minimum of 4 years of art therapy experience preferred
- Supervision experience
- Excellent leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for art therapy and commitment to Healing Harmonies’ values: compassion, humility, integrity, collaboration, and respect
- Reliable car and insurance
- Must pass a background check
